Question: My mom is 86 and living at home. She stays on the first floor and sleeps in a hospital bed. I would like to replace her innerspring. Since she is in and out of bed herself are the side foam support beds good for her? She weighs about 120 lbs.
Answer: The side supports will not hinder her from getting in and out of the bed on her own.  They are simply a form of additional support for patient transfer if the person isn't physically able to move on their own.
